This is one of our Halloween decorations, a plastic pumpkin that lights up (you can't really tell from the picture though).We bought the pumpkin because its cute and cheap... except it hasn't been particularly cheap. Allie always wants the light on, and the two AA batteries don't last long! It seems even if we remember to turn it off when Allie isn't in the room, the batteries only last three days or so. We bought another package of AA batteries today in order to keep the pumpkin lit until Halloween! Its fun though. I love seeing Allie's enthusiasm. She gets really excited when she sees pumpkins outside. I wonder what she'll think of the pumpkin patch when we go next week?
