We started finger foods a few weeks ago. Gerber graduates puffs melt in the mouth and they're actually pretty tasty.
It took a little while for Allie to get the hang of the puffs. When babies first start picking up small objects, they pick them up with their fist and then can't get them out.
Allie figured out the "pincer grasp" - grasping with the thumb and forefinger - but it still took a little while for her to actually put the puffs in her mouth. I find it funny because she will put almost anything else in her mouth!
Now she's a big fan and we're deciding what to try next.
