Allie's first art project

Yesterday we got out the "art" part of Allie's art table. We started with the paper and crayons. She wasn't too interested in coloring though. Rather, she liked taking the crayons out of and then putting them back in the box.

She sure is concentrating!

Pretty good for handling those little sticks!

But see? She did color a little bit! I wanted to keep her first art creation, but alas, she later ripped it up because thats her favorite thing to do with paper.

Then she decided to carry the crayons all over the living room.

It was fun, but we obviously see many hazards in allowing her to just carry the crayons all over the house.

In fact, one crayon is already broken and she's already colored on the floor here in front of the door. I need to figure out what cleaning solution cleans up crayon from linoleum, or else we have some nice light red scribbles next to that rug. Lesson learned, when we color from now on, we only give her a few crayons, not the box. We also don't let the crayons leave the table.
