I mentioned something this morning when dropping Allie off at daycare that we had "gone out" last night and didn't have time to feed Allie rice cereal. It got me thinking about the difference between going out now and going out just six short months ago.
In college, "going out" usually meant drinking. More recently, going out had meant social engagements with friends, or a date night, not always including drinking.
Now, "going out" means leaving the house and taking the baby with us, and all the fun that goes with that. And its especially fun to do on a week night. And thats fun in the sarcastic sense. We still go out in the old way, on a date or some such activity, but that's a lot less.
My, how things have changed!
Haha. Someone told me once that when you have kids that it's not that you have NO life, you just have a very different life! At least the weather has been nice lately.
